Production
A recent visitor to the Acorn Sign Graphics production area described the department as "a giant art studio on steroids." Our production department is not only loaded with cool materials to print, cut, paint, and assemble, but it is also comprised of a group of craftspeople whose approach to sign fabrication resembles the attitudes of artists as they approach their work. Art studio on steroids? Yeah - that sounds about right.
The production department is comprised of the digital, vinyl graphics, and fabrication and installation teams. These teams are supported by a general manager who has more than twenty years of experience in the sign industry. Our Production Department also advises the design and project management staff on production considerations they need to know about, such as materials, weight, and manufacturing requirements.
The Production team is proficient at operating their complex equipment and computers that guide their machines. They are continuously training and learning, innovating and problem solving in order to deliver the best possible signs to our customers. Lean manufacturing practices increase efficiencies, and reduce waste and mistakes.
