Best in Show green-friendly banner material (#4 recycle) now available
AcornEco Banner product by EcoMedia was released in the summer of 2008 and is just becoming available through its distributors. In our estimation, this is the best alternative to traditional vinyl banner materials. No other banner material on the market can match it’s eco-friendly characteristics, durability and print quality—which is why it received such an enthusiastic response at SGIA (Specialty Graphic Imaging Association) and won the 2008 Product of the Year for Media from the Digital Printing and Imaging Association.
ASG General Manager Owen Taylor wins grant for Virginia Sign Association to train OSHA standards and sign shop safety
Giving back. For many years, ASG has been active on the Board of the Virginia Sign Association. Owen Taylor, our current Board representative, wrote a proposal to fill a need he recognized for sign shops across the state to better understand and implement safety practices, including OSHA requirements. The grant award underwrites free training and materials to participants—and the learning they take back to their companies will enhance the safety of many more.
