Green Products AcornEco Interior Sign System
Our AcornEco standard interior sign systems have been getting rave reviews, beginning with recognition by SEGD (Society for Environmental Graphic Design), which featured us in their Green Paper, Best Practices, Strategies and Scenarios for Sustainability in Environmental Graphic Design.
- Photopolymer and Base material: NovAcryl PT Series photopolymer applied to a PETG sign base; or NovAcryl ECR Series photopolymer on 3-form ® Varia™ series material. The photopolymer effluent is 100% biodegradable and can be disposed of in plain tap water. The 3-form panels are non-toxic, have up to 40% recycled content, and are recyclable.
- Modularity: component parts can be disassembled for re-use, revision and/or recycling; changeable inserts for easy updates and revisions.
- Mechanical Fasteners: hardware, such as pucks and standoff systems, and mechanical backplates that are an alternative to solvent based glues and tapes.
- Low Emitting Materials: indoor air quality is improved by minimizing the use of paint. Instead, foil stamping or direct to substrate printing provide a low VOC solution.
- Recyclable Materials: In addition to PETG and 3-form®, all aluminum components and bamboo are recyclable.
